Tribhuvan University (TU) is going to conduct the oral examination (Viva) online after the research paper. TU will take the doctorate, MPhil, postgraduate and undergraduate courses online. The Academic Council of Tribhuvan University has written to the Deans' Offices and Departments of all the study institutes and faculties instructing them to operate the mentioned level online. The council has decided to conduct the final oral examination online after completing the necessary departmental process including proposal defense, seminar for writing thesis from graduation to doctorate level, said Shivlal Bhushal, head of education. For the doctoral degree, TU will be allowed to conduct online tasks other than final defense of the thesis, proposal defense, pre-vivavos defense and seminars online. According to Bhusal, the research director submitted the research proposal to the department of the relevant subject. TU is requesting to share this information with all the students.
