Government of Nepal decided to cancel the Examination of Class 11 . Spokesperson of the Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai informed that it has been decided to give certificates to the students through internal assessment. The examination was scheduled to be held from April 6 2020. But the The Exam could not be done due to the epidemic of corona virus (Covid-19). The National Examination Board has been given the responsibility of formulating procedures on how to conduct interim assessment of students. The concerned colleges will award marks to the students as per the procedure. Earlier, it was decided not to conduct Secondary Education Examination (SEE) due to the risk of corona infection. Tribhuvan University (TU) is going to conduct the oral examination (Viva) online after the research paper. TU will take the doctorate, MPhil, postgraduate and undergraduate courses online. The Academic Council of Tribhuvan University has written to the Deans' Offices and Departments of all the study institutes and faculties instructing them to operate the mentioned level online. The council has decided to conduct the final oral examination online after completing the necessary departmental process including proposal defense, seminar for writing thesis from graduation to doctorate level, said Shivlal Bhushal, head of education. For the doctoral degree, TU will be allowed to conduct online tasks other than final defense of the thesis, proposal defense, pre-vivavos defense and seminars online. According to Bhusal, the research director submitted the research proposal to the department of the relevant subject. TU is requesting to share this information with all the students.
